organization is dedicated to serving women in need of pregnancy testing and
peer counseling and/or support. CCWC is run by a small group of dedicated professionals and is staffed by community volunteers who desire to love and support women and men with pregnancy
related questions/issues.
CCWC is located in its own building at 815 S. South St., in Wilmington Ohio. The building contains areas designed to meet the varied needs of women visiting the center:
- Welcome Area - a receptionist greets all who enter.
- Peer Counseling/Pregnancy Testing Rooms - comfortable and confidential rooms in which pregnancy tests are administered. These rooms also afford a non-threatening setting in which CCWC
client advocates can answer questions, provide information and serve the needs of those visiting.
- Baby Boutique - new items (e.g. diapers, formula, baby bed, car
seat, etc.) earned by new moms and dads who complete small education skill learning sets. "Gently Used" baby clothes (newborn-24 mos.) available at no cost.
- Maternity Boutique - "Gently Used" maternity clothes available at no cost
- Training Rooms - used for a variety of information and educational programs. Parenting classes inform new parents and offer
graduation presents such as baby beds, strollers, car seats, etc.
Moms & Company teaches new moms and dads on the early years of child care. A variety of videos and other training material is available.
- Resource Center - a large selection of printed material on reproduction, pregnancy, parenting, abortion, birth control, etc.
